December 2017 Update
Last month of 2017! Wow!!! And it's a busy one. Please review the calendar above and continue to check agendas daily for more detailed information. Please note that our class is only performing on Dec. 20th, not the 19th. However, choir students are performing on the 19th. Doors for the concert will open at 6p.m. and our class is on first at 6:30. There is also a concert at 1:15 on the 20th for those who would prefer a less crowded event and are able to make it.
Please also note that on Dec. 12th, the movie Wonder begins at 12 so we will have an early lunch. It would be best if all students stayed at school for lunch that day if possible. Don't forget to order popcorn/drink combos on-line before Dec. 5th. Food may NOT be purchased that day so don't miss out if you were wanting your child to have a snack.
The last week of school in December is filled with school spirit days organized by our SRC. There is also a dance on the 22nd. Our class is scheduled to attend the dance from 10:45 to 11:45 and there is a $1 charge for that on-line to cover the DJ cost. As usual, please let me know if you have any questions, concerns or comments via agenda or email. Have a wonderful month and we will likely see you on concert night!
November 2017 Update
Hello Families! I sure hope everyone finds themselves well. I am looking forward to meeting with you during our conference time. on November 17th. This year, parents will be scheduling themselves in on-line to allow them to pick a time that works best for them. There will be more information to follow on how to do this so stay tuned. Please browse through the above calendar (you can view up to June). Dates are posted as soon as I am aware of them. Continue to check your child's agenda daily because the agenda continues to be our primary method of communication.
As you may have noticed, students have been asked to provide you with weekly updates of what is going on in our class on Seesaw. Some students have provided video posts while others have chosen to write up what they have been learning. It is my hope that Seesaw will help foster discussions at home about what is going on at school. Let me know at conferences if you are having any issues using Seesaw. I encourage you to get signed up if you haven't already. If you need a new code to sign up, please let me know via email or agenda and I will send a new one home.
